My return flight is significantly delayed

Modified on Fri, 30 Aug at 11:24 AM

If you are already traveling and receive a notification about a delay to your return flight, we recommend contacting the airline directly at your location.

For minor changes to your flight schedule, you often do not need to take any action. You can still use your original e-ticket to travel.

To avoid surprises, we recommend checking in online at least 24 hours before departure (depending on the airline) to see the most current flight schedule. When a major change is made to your schedule, the airline will need your confirmation to proceed. Your options are usually:

  • Accept the change(s);
  • Change to an alternative flight option;
  • Cancel the flight.
